Currently, 30 aircraft are based at N43 with all operations using Runway 18/36 (1,956 feet x 65 feet). Cessnas are the most popular types of aircraft based at N43 along with other small single-engine aircraft.
In 2018, the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority (LNAA) and Northampton County completed nearly $500,000 of renovations which included: demolition of the old terminal building and other dilapidated structures, hangar roof repairs, epoxy flooring, new paint and enhanced lighting in the hangars, implementation of a modular terminal, and installation of a security fence.
Construction on a new terminal building is expected to begin by the end of 2020. The PennDOT Bureau of Aviation awarded the Airport Authority a $325,000 matching grant for the 2,200 square foot modular structure.

Kimi Eisenhart
“For those that love aviation, an airport is home!”
This phrase perfectly describes Kimi Eisenhart – Operations Manager at Queen City Airport (XLL) in the City of Allentown and Braden Airpark (N43) in Forks Township.
During her 15-year career at the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority, Kimi’s positive attitude towards versatility has provided extensive knowledge regarding the aviation industry and prepared her to deliver the highest level of customer service for pilots, tenants, and visitors.
Since arriving at the Airport Authority in 2005, Kimi became a Ramp Agent at Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) before transitioning to Flight Line Technician at Hangar 7 (FBO). After getting a taste of the corporate and general aviation world, Kimi landed the role of Operations Manager at the LNAA’s GA facilities, her scope of responsibilities at XLL and N43 include: ensuring superior safety and elite customer service for all daily operations; oversight of fuel pricing and financial management; staff scheduling; and the execution and evaluation of logistical procedures (repairs, initiatives, etc.) for both general aviation airports.
Kimi’s passion towards aviation is contagious and the actions by LNAA staff reflect her commitment to excellence as they serve the aviation community in the Lehigh Valley.
